Custom Lighting, Crafted Around Your Vision
Sometimes the perfect fixture doesn’t exist—yet.
Our Custom Lighting service lets you bring your own ideas to life or co-create something entirely new with our team. We collaborate with select manufacturers who specialize in custom work, so you can enjoy unique, high-quality pieces without one-of-a-kind price tags.
How It Works
1. Share Your Idea
Bring us anything: a sketch, inspiration photo, mood board, or simply a description of what you’re imagining. We’ll help translate your ideas into a clear design direction.
Some examples of details we gather from you:
• Style and inspiration images.
• Quantities and timelines.
• Building lighting and structural requirements.
• Overall dimensions and fixture installation locations.
• Lighting type (specific LED type, color temperature, dimming and control requirements, lumen output required).
• Desired materials and finishes.
• Maintenance and replacement criteria.
2. Design & Detailing
Our designer will work with Kalco & Allegri Crystal Lighting to help bring your vision to life through sketches, initial CAD drawings, and material and construction suggestions.
Together we refine the shape, scale, finishes, and materials to suit your space—whether it’s a single pendant, a statement chandelier, or a series of sconces.
3. Quote Process
You receive a transparent quote outlining pricing, terms, and conditions:
• Kalco & Allegri Crystal Lighting sends all the provided project information and sketches to their engineers at their factory to evaluate all costs to create a formal quote with pricing, terms, and any additional conditions.
• They review the quote internally to check for accuracy and to make sure it aligns with their company policies.
• You receive the quote to review, request clarifications, and approve.
• After quote approval, purchase order placement, and payment of project deposits, the product development process starts.
4. Engineering & Pre-Production
Once the purchase order is received, their engineering and design teams collaborate to finalize everything before production can begin.
• Production timelines are scheduled.
• Technical drawings are created for your review and approval.
• Special materials and finish samples are created.
• Their internal design engineering team approves the drawings and samples.
• After internal approvals, the drawings and samples are sent to you for your final approval sign-off.
• After your approval, production begins.
5. Production, Delivery & Placement
Once the design is approved, your fixture moves into production. We keep you informed throughout manufacturing with regular updates and photos. Adjustments can be made as needed, and each fixture undergoes multiple inspections to maintain the manufacturer's high standards. When it’s ready, our white glove delivery team coordinates timing and helps with careful placement in coordination with your electrician or contractor.
